The brand that needs no introduction Supreme opened their ninth retail space, and first European location, in London’s Soho district in September 2011. The store interior was designed by the same Wilson brothers who previously kitted out the new Foot Patrol location, and features additional art creations from original Supreme member Mark Gonzales.

Coinciding with the release of the Fall/Winter collection, hundreds of Supreme fans from all over Europe began queuing outside the store over 24 hours before opening and were rewarded with the chance to get their hands on the Union Jack box logo t-shirt that had been created especially for the London launch.

Although a lot of older Supreme fans look upon the opening of the London store as the beginning of the end for the New York heavyweights, they have managed to stay true to their brand values and their popularity and cult status among the youth of today shows no sign of slowing up because of it.

With news of a European webstore imminent, the Supreme London location may lose some of its significance over the coming months, but until that time it’s still a must-see for anyone visiting the capital looking for authentic and relevant streetwear.
