Everypeoples Guide Liberty

Since 1875 Liberty of London have aimed to share a unique and luxury selection of goods with it's London clientele. Whether it be through their homeware, cosmetics and even confectionary Liberty has something for everyone... for a price of course.

Once described as "the chosen resort of the artistic shopper" by none other than Oscar Wilde Liberty has quite the selection of goods and one can easily become lost amongst the store's 5 floors, not just by the goods themselves but also through the stores Tudor building. Continually pushing London retail forward the store was even the subject of a major exhibition held at the Victoria & Albert Museum in 1975.

The men's department of Liberty can be found on the lower ground floor with a variety of different areas offering an equally varying range of products. The first area you will encounter from the main stairs is a more 'casual' collection of brands including Folk, Norse Projects, Barbour and A.P.C. To your left you will reach the denim department with a vast array of marks like Levi's, Nudie and Edwin. The next room houses the likes of Comme des Garcon, Kenzo, Acne, Junya Watanabe and Vivienne Westwood. Further rooms contain a vast array of formal and casual shoes although not many sneakers but plenty of accessories from brands like Mulberry and Sanqvist. If you're in the market for a trim there's also a Murdock grooming centre located on the lower ground floor.
